Sentry Crash Report:

Description Felix Endres 2007-12-02 16:25:59 UTC
Version: SVN (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

When changing properties (in my case a new keyword) for an individual image (ctrl+1) the Date gets lost and I have to reread it from the EXIF data.

What version of KPhotoAlbum is this?

Could you please describe exact steps about how to trigger this bug using demo database (run `kphotoalbum -demo`)? Is it reproducible even with English locale (`KDE_LANG=en_US kphotoalbum -demo`)?
Comment 2 Felix Endres 2007-12-02 20:02:49 UTC
It is not reproducible with the -demo switch, neither with KDE_LANG=en_US nor without. It is however reproducible with my database in 100% of the cases.
I select a picture, press ctrl+1, select the existing keyword 'Gute Bilder' and after confirming the date ist not shown anymore in the Tooltip (and the image is not shown anymore if I filter by date).
My 'about kphotopaint' dialog says I have 'KPhotoAlbum SVN (Using KDE 3.5.5)'. Aptitude (Debian/Ubuntu package manager) says it is 2.2-2.

I suppose "kphotopaint" is an error. Anyway, please try to reproduce with any recent version of KPA (that is, 3.0.2 or 3.1.0).

Ok, thanks. Kphotopaint was an error indeed, sorry. I think I will wait for an ubuntu-package with a more recent version though. Maybe you want to close this report as I do not know when the package will be released...
Regards.

I have no idea what version of Ubuntu you use, but there surely are fresh packages available, see https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kphotoalbum
