Description bueno 2007-11-30 20:08:44 UTC
Version: 3.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux

I'm using kdesvn to compare a local copy against the head version in the repository. After doing some changes on the local copy, I click on 'save' or 'save all', but I doesn't work. Kompare shows a pop up telling me that it was not possible to copy the temporal working file in /tmp/tmp-user/kompareXXXX.tmp. It suggests me to do it manually.
Comment 1 Otto Bruggeman 2009-03-11 01:13:46 UTC
Should be fixed for KDE 4.2.1.
Comment 2 Carsten Milkau 2013-12-07 13:13:19 UTC
Problem appears again in KDE 4.10.5.
Kompare: 4.1.2
KDESVN: 1.6.0

My box is down and probably will be for the rest of this year, so this may take a while.

Thank you for reporting this issue in KDE software. As it has been a while since this issue was reported, can we please ask you to see if you can reproduce the issue with a recent software version?

If you can reproduce the issue, please change the status to "REPORTED" when replying. Thank you!
Comment 7 Carsten Milkau 2023-01-21 23:13:15 UTC
I'm no longer using this software so I can't easily test it. If noone else is experiencing this problem, I'm fine with just closing this bug.
