I open multiple files from webdav:// and each time these open in a new kate instance. I've learned about "kate -u", but I find it a bit weird this is only a command line switch. In fact I only learned about this switch while browsing bug reports.

Instead, I'd really love to have a checkbox "open files in the same editor instance". This would make such powerful - and often requested feature - more usable!
