Description Erik de Groot 2007-11-25 11:44:56 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.96.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.1.1 (Gentoo 4.1.1-r3)
OS: Linux

If you raise a kde bug through Help->Report Bug... and then launch the "Launch Bug Report Wizard" you are asked to fill in your credentials. Although the credentials are correct, the following message is displayed in konqueror:You're not logged in. Perhaps you disabled cookies? If cookies are activated and you still cannot log in, try accessing this site without a proxy server. Navigating to bugs.kde.org and then logging in works perfectly.
This problem was confirmed by another kde4 user.

B.t.w. I pasted the URL generated by the Launch Bug Report Wizard into Firefox and I could normally login. So this is more likely a konqueror problem than a problem with the site.

It is our problem --- the cookie jar likes to eat cookies. Bad cookie jar.
It only happens w/dates in a certain format, however, which is just what bugs.kde.org happens to use.

I know how to fix it, but the same sort of bug is in other spots, and I am not sure how to address that.
