whe i move "application launcher" button near the top or right edge of the screen and click on it, menu opens almost entirely out of the desktop

SVN commit 746198 by jstubbs:

Don't open the launcher beyond the screen's geometry and prefer to open
downward when possible so as to act like a regular menu.
