Version:           1.9.5 (using KDE 3.5.5 "release 45.6" , openSUSE 10.2)
Compiler:          Target: x86_64-suse-linux
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.18.8-0.7-default

I have a folder with 80000 items in it.  I right click on it and transfer to trash.  It transfers about half the items and then the application crashes.

Could you upgrade to OpenSuse 10.3, kmail has got a lot of fixes since version 1.9.5.

Please add the backtrace to the crash (and reopen then), we need one to check if it is already reported or not.
