If the X server crashes, it is X server problem, not KDE problem (KDE may be at most triggering it). Might be an X-server problem, but KDE3.5 doesn't trigger it; KDE4 beta 1-4 didn't trigger it, only RC1 does it. So KDE4-RC1 does something it shouldn't do. No, it's the X server that does something it shouldn't do - it shouldn't crash. It doesn't matter if KDE triggers it, unless X developers can say the X crash happens because KDE uses the X server incorrectly. |
