Description Christian Banik 2007-11-18 00:51:20 UTC
Version: 1.0.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

I'd like to see a feature in k3b to support encryption on-the-fly with LUKS. The method is further described on the following page: http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Burn_Encrypted_Optical_Media_With_Luks

The GUI would need to offer the selection of different ciphers and to ask for a password.

There's a script that's supposed to help burning encrypted DVDs https://gist.github.com/ladamson/6451510
From my point of view, it would definitely be desirable if there was a GUI option in k3b to encrypt DVDs, BluRays etc. on the fly upon burning.
