This wish is sufficiently similar to my own wish that I would like to append to this rather than create a new wish. I have several folders that are usually spam, ie, info@mywebsite.org, and there is much deleting to do, but there are a few jewels amongst the turds. Jewels occassionally get deleted by mistake because of the repetitive delete requests and because some messages take time to delete (the oriental character ones take several seconds). The "Important" flag doesn't protect these messages. I have sought through the menu structures of Kontact to find an email lock that would protect a message from erasure, but I find none. This would be a valued and used feature if it were available. I would expect it to be under Message->Mark Message->Lock Message which would put a little lock icon on the message, or, because of additional functionality beyond a simple mark, Message->Protect Message Kontact 1.2.4 Linux 2.6.22.19-0.1-default SuSE 10.3 |
