How to reproduce:
Start Konsole, write "su" and go root. Start writing some words, notice that the word you are currently editing is invisible.
The problem is not solved playing with the color themes.

I cannot reproduce this here.  I take it this doesn't happen with Konsole under KDE 3?

KDE 4, less that a day old, the console from KDE 4.

Sorry for missing that info, I thought selecting "svn sources"  was going to mean the latest version.

I gathered that.  What I mean is, I could not reproduce this under KDE 4 (current SVN build, Kubuntu Gutsy) What distribution/version are you using?

Please close it, I cannot reproduce it anymore, I cannot say if its because of 
the last build or something else.
