Version:           0.12.7 (using KDE 3.5.8, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu3.1)
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic

if i change network properties, kopete can not connect msn. there is connection, because i can connect gtalk but msn. when i try connect to msn, stupid msn butterfly flaps for seconds that it die. this is so stupidity. because, only there is one solution that restart my fuckin computer.

what do you mean by "change network properties"?

If you're still having this problem in a newer version, can you please reopen with some new information? A screenshot maybe of the network configuration box menu you're talking about?

"change network properties" is , changing ip and gateway. but, i was sure about i made right configration for network. because, i can browse internet sites. 
but, i install new version of kubuntu. now, i use kubuntu 8.04. and there isnt problem yet. i think, it was a problem about, part of msn in kopete. because, i could connect gtalk but , i couldnt connect to msn network
