Version:           1.2.7 (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)

I would like to have for each feed, alongside the number of unread items, the number of new items, maybe in red.

This would be a major usability improvement for me:
Since I don't usually read all the new items, leaving them unread for future reference is helpful. Marking new items with this methodology is essential.
