Description Martin Koller 2007-11-02 19:32:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

I find it strange that in System Settings there is "Keyboard & Mouse" very prominet in the first row, but it does not include the Keyboard Layout settings which I have to find in "Regianl & Languages".

Navigation should be as intuitive as possible, and when something with my keyboard does not work, I would assume I can fix it in the Keyboard section.

the systemsettings organization has been a bit changed since last year. What do you think about the new layout?
Comment 2 Maciej Pilichowski 2008-11-14 08:52:40 UTC
Finex, this report is not about layout.

Nothing was changed, the problem is still present.
Comment 3 FiNeX 2008-11-14 10:18:06 UTC
well, keyboard and mouse is on the last row... anyway "keyboard layout" is still in the "regional & language" module :-) :-) :-)

i also think it's a good idear to regroup keyboard layout with keybord option, or have "link" to find it.

Keyboard Hardware and Layouts configuration have been merged together in Keyboard module and will be pushed in 4.5 (right now it's pending in kdereview)
Comment 7 Andriy Rysin 2010-05-12 03:40:54 UTC
Fixed in trunk (so will be available in 4.5)
