All of the filters in the 'Enhance' menu (Sharpen, Blur, ...) lack one preview mode: The mode that switches between 'before' and 'after' when you hover the mouse over the preview area.

I agree... like I mentioned in several bugreports now, maybe we should merge the three different image filter dialogs to one single dialog that just looks and works the same in all filters. See also http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148235
