Version:           1.2.4 (enterprise 0.20070907.709405) (using KDE 3.5.8, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu3.1)

After upgrading from Feisty to Gutsy there are no tooltips available for the buttons in the taskbar. Though the icons can be shown together with text it is more convenient to have only the icons without text as the (Dutch) texts use too much space to be shown all at once.
Would be nice if the tooltips would be shown again as before the upgrade.

Are you sure this only affects Kontact and not any other application?

Please check if this option is enabled:

KDE Configuration Center -> Appearance & Themes -> Style -> Enable tooltips
KDE Configuratiecentrum -> Uiterlijk & thema's -> Stijl -> Hulpballonnen activeren
