Version:           0.5.7 (using KDE 3.5.7 "release 72" , openSUSE 10.3)
Compiler:          Target: i586-suse-linux
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.5-31-default

How to replicate the problem:

A. To create a file with underlined links
1. Open any file in Adobe Acrobat(in Windows).
2. Select a word (or a few words). 
3. Right-click. Choose "create a link" option.
4. Select "underline" (this is important)
5. Navigate to any page, adjust view (zoom and position).
6. Press OK.

Now the link shows up as underlined word(s).
Clicking it will open another page with a different zoom, or a page, etc..

7. Save the file.
8. Open the same file in Linux+kpdf.
I expect the underline to appear at the same place.
Instead, you get the underline ABOVE the words.
It is exact opposite of "underline" (call it "overline")

I'll be pleased if you:
a) provide us a pdf to test
or
b) provide us a Adobe Acrobat and a Windows license to reproduce your steps.

I also encountered this bug with
  0.5.7 (using KDE 3.5.7 "release 72" , openSUSE 10.3) 
and with
  Kubuntu 7.10 version (KDE 3.5.8, I think)

I hope the included testcase pdf helps. I've included the latex source (no you don't need Acrobat nor Windows...) for your convenience.
  pdflatex kpdf-underoverline.tex
on the command line should do it (if you have a non-ancient tex-distribution installed).

I just upgraded to KDE 3.5.9 (Ubuntu packages), and the problem still persists, while http://www.kde.org/announcements/changelogs/changelog3_5_8to3_5_9.php claims it has been fixed.

Welcome to the amazing world where ubuntu ships a thing that is NOT kpdf but they still call it kpdf. Open a bug in their bugzilla.

Oh, interesting. There was another bug (a crash involving big fonts), that is also fixed in the Ubuntu package. Another crash is still _not_ fixed. Hm. Hm. Thank you.
