Sentry Crash Report:

Description Stephan Buehne 2007-10-19 14:47:06 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

The error occured since upgrade to 3.5.8 from 3.5.7. A shell script, which has to run as root, is started by calling console from a desktop-icon with the following entries:
Command: '/home/.../.../<script-name.sh'. The script has permissions 755.

Advanced options: Execute in terminal, run as different user (root)

With execution the terminal windows opens, and prompts for the root password.
After the password is entered, the terminal windows closes either immediately, or stays open, (depends on advnaced options settings), but the shell script isn't executed.
Worked in 3.5.7
