Version: 1.0.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Anton Khirnov <wyskas@gmail.com> has noticed that K3b reports success in a case where it should report an error. Here is what he wrote on the Debian tracker (http://bugs.debian.org/446471):

When I try to format a dvd-rw, that is mounted and cd'ed into, k3b
reports success, even though formatting fails and log reports
umount: Device is busy

I also have dvdrw's of which k3b says they do not have to be formatted and they can not be rewritten, though they where only written once.

In an attempt to clean up old bugs that are not valid for K3b 2.0 (=KDE SC 4.x port) anymore, this is now being marked as UNMAINTAINED.
If this bug is still valid for 2.0, please reopen it.
