Version:           1.1.3 (KOffice 1.6.3) (using KDE 3.5.7, compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.4.6 [FreeBSD] 20060305

When I added a field to a table in MySQL database data in this table was lost.

It is a feature. Kexi warns you about this.
I do not mark this as WINTFIX but as LATER what means preserving the table data is in development, for version 2.x.
