uLe, Sound like a sub-system problem. digiKam use a standard KDE kio-slave to process copy. Try konqueror to copy file from your remote HDD to your local HDD to check if it reproductible... Gilles Caulier It might be a USB problem with your computer or gphoto2 USB traffic handling. I have similar problems when I download from the camera directly. When I download from the same CF card but through card reader, then there are much less problems on my old computer and no problems on my new computer. These problems are the same using gphoto2 only, has nothing to do with digikam.
