This is not a crash. What do you mean by "the phoneline drops"? Does your entire internet connection get disconnected? Also, you should try a newer version of KMail, the problem might already be resolved. my entire internet connection get disconnected. I use kinternet and i see ( in check connection dialog) that when kmail tries to send attachment kinternet is wait for name server..after 4 times the line get disconnected...i can just send text attachment >my entire internet connection get disconnected.
This can't really be caused by KMail, the fault is somewhere else. Closing the bug report.
