Description Hans Meier 2007-09-18 08:40:45 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I've set up an image of myself, but the first time I type a line to someone (doesn't matter which protocol, I've tried Jabber and ICQ), my image is not shown in the chat window. If I add a second line, the image is displayed, and from that time on, it is always correctly there.

If I restart Kopete, the same problem occurs again.

I've just noticed that it's not only the own image that isn't shown but also the image of the person you're chatting with.

I bet you are seeing something like this: http://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=26354&action=view
Can you confirm this?

PS: This is 99% a dupe of bug 143903

Hmm, I've switched to Gnome (:-P), but AFAIR that's exactly how it looked like.
