Right click on KPowersave -> configure -> common settings -> screen lock -> mark "lock screen before suspend/hibernate" The problem is "lock screen before suspend/hibernate" is marked on my openSUSE and the system doesn't lock the desktop before suspending. The very same environment works here without problems. Does it help if you explicitely specify one lock method in the combo box below? Does screen locking work for you at all (e.g. when you leave the machine for some time without anything)? Is screen locking activated at all in the control panel? No, it does not help at all (I specified KSscreensaver, for instance). Besides, screen locking works smoothly. This sounds more like a problem with kpowersave (which is not part of KDE). Please ask there for help. SUSE or KPowerSave specific. |
