Description S. Burmeister 2007-09-05 20:03:15 UTC
Version: 0.9.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

When one opens "File > Create new album" one cannot select a directory. Digikam rather assumes that one wants to create it below the currently selected album. The latter means that the user has to scroll all the way up just to select the "my albums" in order to create the new album in the image-root.

Instead of just showing the "create new album in xyz" in the "new album dialogue" one could provide a drop-down menu that pre-selects the currently selected albums but allows the user to pick another root-folder for the new album.
