Version:           3.5.6 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu14.1)
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-16-generic

My steps:
1- Adding iCal file
2- all events come up.
3- uncheck My iCal File
4- all events hiden
5- check My iCal file
6- all events come up but with a duplicate

I can confirm this with Kontact 4.3.0. Can someone test with latest svn?

Working fine in master. Reopen if you experience it with 4.6.
