Another thing is a bit a concern if the global QAP should be managed from one application level. Would it be possible to move all QAP global operations (i.e. which effects all apps) to KControl module. I think it would be safer and more convenient. *** Bug 207470 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Would be nice if this could be turned into an extra mile bug. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=303462 To elaborate a little more why it makes sense. I do not want to see music and video folders in the file dialogue of office applications and not show all my office document folders in video or music players. I have quite a few folders in my places list and it would help very much not to have only those I need in a specific context of an application. It is a little like activities, but on a smaller scale. |
