Sebastian, This may not be a K3b problem after all, but I do remember that you fixed some DMA-related problems recently and so I thought it best to check with you. Thmomas now says: "just tested on laptop, does *not* affect > 2 years old hitachi dvd reader drive: Model=HITACHI DVD-ROM GD-S250, FwRev=0012 with debian stable kernel. estimate max. affected dvd reader drives < 25% so far, i assume it is a firmware bug in my toshiba dvd reader drive or kernel 2.6.22.x x86_64 bug." In an attempt to clean up old bugs that are not valid for K3b 2.0 (=KDE SC 4.x port) anymore, this is now being marked as UNMAINTAINED. If this bug is still valid for 2.0, please reopen it. |
