Sentry Crash Report:

Description Dragan Espenschied 2007-08-22 21:57:41 UTC
Version: 4.9.1 (rabid dolphin) (using KDE 3.5.7, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.7-0ubuntu1~feisty2)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-16-generic

I connect the cradle with a serial2usb cable.

I choose the autoconf wizard.

I press the hotsync button on the cradle.

I click the button to start autodetection.

The Palm twitters to indicate that the sync process started. The progress bar in kpilot goes till 30% and stalls. Then Palm twitters to indicate the hotsync is done. kpilot crashes with Signal 11.

The crash only regards the wizard (window with the title "kpilot", not the main application with the window title "KPilot".

I can help with more tests if needed.

Getting the same results only with Kubuntu 7.10. I can not get my Palm TX to get past the 'configuration wizard in my attempt to sync it with Kontact. How do I verify the USB # the cradle/Palm is using? I don't see the '/dev/pilot' directory either. I'm lost and need help.

Yeah, sorry guys, the autoconfiguration wizard is broken.
