Arnd, It's sound like an old report using an old release of digiKam. Marcel has implemented something to use trash instead to delete. Right ? Gilles Caulier feisty was released with 0.9.1 (see https://edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/digikam). My repo had 0.9.2 for feisty. @ Paul: what's the output of digikam --version dpkg -l digikam which -a digikam Paul, Please, make a fresh report in this room, else nothing can be done.
