Description Peter Bittner 2007-07-26 10:02:12 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When my Linux box goes offline (e.g. when I switch of the WLAN router temporarily) Kopete goes offline by force.

When my Linux box goes online again, however, Kopete does not go online again - as I would expect. (Skype goes back online automatically - sorry for the comparison!)

All plugins (Jabber, ICQ, IRC, etc.) should switch back to the state they had before the system went offline. As of now all Kopete plugins remain offline.

When the system goes offline temporarily this should not affect Kopete's functioning. (What if a user is away for a couple of minutes and within that time frame the system goes offline and switches back to online again; the user should not have to hassle with the current state of Kopete every time she/he comes back to the computer, I believe.)

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
