Please provide some more information, if possible. What make/model of scanner is in use, and is it possible to use it with another scanning program such as xscanimage? Also try detecting it with the sane-find-scanner command or 'scanimage -L'. If the scanner is detected and works with these other programs, and you can compile from source, please check out and try the SVN version at branches/work/kooka-kde3. This allows the device to be manually entered in the case where Kooka cannot detect it; either specify it on the command line with the '-d' switch, or use the new "Add Scan Device" menu option. No feedback, not enough information for further investigation. Unprobeable network or USB scanner may be bug 139932. |
