Installed from:    Fedora RPMs

Setting the retention period for my spam folder to 3 days seems to have no effect. Outdated mails are not automatically deleted.
They are only deleted on confirmation of the period settings.

Please give more details.
Are you using IMAP?
Are the expiry settings correctly saved in the configuration file (kmailrc)?
