Description ndeb 2007-07-20 18:14:18 UTC
Version: 0.20 (using KDE 3.5.7, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: i586-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-14mdv

1) Start up kghostview by itself

2) In the Menubar, go to Settings. The 1st menu item is "Show Menubar" when it should instead be "Hide Menubar" (since the Menubar is already being shown).

For me (kubuntu 7.04, kde 3.5.7), problem is that the menu item says "Show menubar" when the application is started. If selected, the only difference is that the text changes to "Hide menubar", the menubar is still shown. Everything works correctly after that, with the menubar getting hidden on selection of menu item.

My experience is the same as comment #1 (the problem is essentially at startup).

In Okular it’s a checkbox.
