screen shot of the Authorization Dialog box
If you leave MSN disconnected, do the authorization dialog pop ups go away? I've never tried that. Do you think that's the culprit? yes. the dialog looks like one that comes from KIO when authorization for a site is needed, and msn uses the http ioslave. I've been running this all day with 0.50.80 in 4.00.85, and haven't had this problem. Is this anything you've run into in a more current version? We've completely replaced the current MSN implementation with a new MSN implementation. If you continue to experience this bug after testing the new implementation (which can be gotten from our subversion repository or with the KDE 4.2 Beta 1 release), PLEASE, open a new bug rather than reopening this bug. Thank you for your time and efforting in helping us find and fix problems in Kopete. |
