Status: RESOLVED FIXED

Sentry Crash Report:

Description Paweł Marciniak 2007-07-09 00:55:01 UTC
Version: svn HEAD (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package
OS: Linux

I convert all my images to PNG while downloading them from my camera. After opening the camera dialog, the first photo is selected, showing the expected .png filename after conversion with small text. Other photos don't have it. When I do Download->Download All at that point, all images are downloaded and converted to PNG, but the filenames are left with .jpg as an extension and digiKam cannot open them. They are still correct PNG files and after a manual rename (changing .jpg to .png) everything is fine.

Pawel,

I cannot reproduce the bug here. All file select and downloaded are converted properlly with the right file name ext. Note than i always use "Download Selected", never Download All.

Can you try Download Selected option on your computer ? Thanks in advance

Gilles, that is why you cannot reproduce it :) My point was that with "Download Selected" it works fine, only breaks if I try to "Download All". Maybe I'll take a look at it when I have some free time.
