Sentry Crash Report:

Description Hector Martin 2007-07-08 23:49:40 UTC
Version: 0.12.3 (using KDE 3.5.5, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.6 (Gentoo 3.4.6-r1, ssp-3.4.5-1.0, pie-8.7.9)
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.19-gentoo-r5

When multiple groupchat invites for the same groupchat are submitted by a contact with no action by the user, a dialog box appears for each one. Once the topmost box is filled in, the user still needs to fill in all the others to dismiss them. "Spamming" a contact with invites is unfortunately relatively common if the contact does not answer (e.g. as a result of being away from the computer), and the user then finds himself having to click through dozens of boxes to continue using Kopete.

Suggested behavior: ignore a groupchat invite if a previous invite is already visible for that groupchat.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
