Version:           1.9.7 (using KDE 3.5.7 "release 47.1" , openSUSE )
Compiler:          Target: i586-suse-linux
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.8-0.3-bigsmp

Since upgrade to version 1.9.7 KMail starts in offline mode. Change to online mode without success. No download is possible from my mail server.
How to configure / ensure that KMail is stating in online mode.

Reinstall of KDM solves the problem.

The problem disappeared after complete reinstallation of all installed KDE programs

Any bugs regarding the offline mode in KDE RPMs from the suse buildservice should be reported to bugzilla.novell.com with me (@novell.com) as the assignee, as this is a suse customisation.
