I had (have) a group with three contacts in it. Two are using msn and jabber, one is using only msn. Then I move them out of the group. Next time I run kopete they either stay there or they are back in the group. Sometimes it remembers sometimes not.

If you move them and they stay where they are supposed to, will they move back to the old place?

Can you separate the jabber sub contacts into their own meta contacts so that in your group you have 5 items under the group: 3 msn and 2 jabber and then try to move the contacts around? We need to pinpoint which protocol this is happening with. Thanks.

Peter, are you still having this problem? Did seperating the jabber contacts from the msn contacts help at all?

Well, I wanted to try what you said, but for some reason it didn't happen again. The contact's stay where they're supposed to be. A possible reason is because of an update or some changes in sorting for which I don't remember exactly what I did.
