The extended status window at the bottom will extend over the whole width of the screen when deleting email with really long subjects.
It should be truncated sanely so that the whole status window itself is and stays fixed size.

The progress window has had an update related to this, which could be the cause:
SVN commit 543387 in bug 127677.

This works for me now - and if not for you please explain me what you are maing "extended status window"
