Sentry Crash Report:

Description zandrame 2007-06-15 10:57:11 UTC
Version: 1.0.1 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu14)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-16-generic

konversation needs the option to launch given a complete irc link (i.e. a --url option, such as "irc://irc.server.net/channel").

As is, the only options konversation has the following:
  --server <server> Server to connect
--port <port> Port to use [6667]
--channel <channel> Channel to join after connection []
--nick <nickname> Nickname to use []
--password <password> Password for connection []
--ssl Use SSL for connection [false]

I don't know how konqueror manages to launch konversation successfully, but the app should play nicely with other browsers too. If this is currently possible, please describe - I have been unable to find any instructions (there are some for XChat, yes, but they don't work for konversation).

Konversation installs a 'konversationircprotocolhandler' which takes irc:// URLs.
