Hi,

I occasionally use licq. After doing so and logging in with kopete again, kopete shows my ICQ contacts as if they hadn't authorized me yet, even though they have. Licq still shows all my contacts properly.

How is this a bug with Kopete? If you use Kopete, and then go use licq, and come back to Kopete and your contacts are messed up, that sounds like an licq problem to me. IMHO, not a Kopete bug.

Please reopen if you can prove otherwise.

If this is a licq bug, how come that licq still displays the contacts properly? I even told kopete not to respect other people's wish for an authorization, and yet it doesn't show my contacts properly.

1. The last time I had used licq, in the normal contact list, it simply did not indicate contacts that need authorization. Thus, it can be explained easily why it /seems/ to work with licq.
2. Define properly. If the server tells us that a contact need authorization, then kopete will inform the user about this *fact*. Nonetheless, if such user goes online, kopete should show this user as online (when not respecting other ...). Please see Bug 117740 for a more detailed explanation.

Thank you, Jan, I didn't know about about that second point. I'll report this to the licq developers.
