Description Arne Schmitz 2007-06-07 15:39:40 UTC
Version: 1.9.5 (using KDE 3.5.5, Debian Package 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-8 (4.0))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18-4-686

What I did:

Start up Kontact, using an IMAP account. The IMAP account is checked peridically every 5 minutes for new email. Now supsend the computer (to RAM or to disk). Then resume the computer.

What I expected:

I expected Kontact to run normally and to check for mail.

What I got instead:

After resuming I got an error message that the IMAP server was not accessible. This was most probably because the network connection took some seconds to re-establish. However, after networking was up again, Kontact shows the 'bouncing progress bar' for an infinitely long time, and also does not check for mails anymore.
