Description John Baldwin 2007-06-01 15:54:06 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports
Compiler: N/A N/A
OS: FreeBSD

I think this would mostly be a kwin thing, but kdm integration would be good as well. What I would like is to
basically have mutiple "static" KDE sessions and have a pulldown in KDM to say which one I want to restore. I use a different set of apps at home than at work, and sometimes I don't want to startup kopete automatically even though I'm on the network, etc. Basically, I'm thinking that when I save a manual session, I can name it, and then in KDM there is a pulldown that lists my manual sessions as well as two other options: "blank" and "previous". It might be nice to be able to configure a user's default session (i.e. default selection in the pulldown list) as well. It's sort of like 'profiles' but for the desktop environment rather than network settings.
