Version:           3.5.7 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages
OS:                Linux

After creating a new category, that category doesn't show up in the "Select Categories" window.
I guess the categories are not being re-read.

After deleting a category, the selection is also stale, so that one can select a category that has already been deleted.

I can confirm it even in the new version of korganizer for KDE4. Just tested on revision 745527

I believe this is fixed in KDE 3.5.9 and in trunk.
Re-open if necessary.

Ben, please write a new bug for 4.1.0.
This bug has been fixed in 3.5.9.
