I would also like to comment that I have compiled (from sources under Gentoo) eariler versions of KDE and those also exhibited this same behavior. Additionally, it appears that the media in question makes no difference. Once toggled on, you cannot get that 'what would you like to do?' window ever again. I bumped into the same problem; the relevant file is ~/.kde/share/config/medianotifierrc. Even though the interface shows no "auto action" the last activated auto action remains in that file. If you clear the file's contents by hand, the dialog box returns. - Gokdeniz Karadag well, bug 131734 also handles this issue |
