Compiler:          gcc 4.1.2

After using kopete for some time, the icons, menu and the conversation window elements don't show up anymore.

I have two accounts, and I group my conversation by account.  After running kopete for a while, the icons of one contact list don't show up anymore, but the icons of the other contact list do show up.

When I double click a buddy of the first account, a conversation window appears, but it is missing the UI elements (menu, toolbar, icons, etc), and it shows up some html on the conversation window.

odd. is there perhaps something wrong with your KDE installation? I know of no other thing that could cause this.

Nothing wrong that I am aware about.
I use KDE extensively and this is the only app where something like this happens.

This is a serious bug, but it will be hard to solve because nobody else has reported it.

Could you provide console output when this is happening (or look in ~/.xsession-errors)?

I can't reproduce this, and it's most likely fixed in KDE 4. Please reopen if you can provide some debug output when running kopete from a terminal
