Description Risto H. Kurppa 2007-05-18 14:57:07 UTC
Version: svn (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
OS: Linux

In the browser view you can click a menu item (people, locations..) with both, right and left mouse buttons. Neither of these give you any kind of visual respond.

I think the right button click should be disabled: one thinks that by pressing the right button a menu appears, as usually in everywhere else happens: left button is for 'action' so it's no surprise that the menu is opened with the left button, but with right too - that's a surprise.

And I'd also like very much to see some kind of visual respond for the click: now browsing the menu feels very.. spooky. You never know if you've pressed a menu item already or not, especially with slower computers / large databases you just have to wait & see if something happens.

Buttons, links, menus, they all give visual feedback so I think that's required in KPA browser too.

Fixed. (along with KDE4 version, I guess..)
