Version:           2.1.3 (using KDE 3.5.4, compiled sources)
Compiler:          Target: i586-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.17.14-mm-desktop-6mdv

I don't see any logical problem,but ktorrent close and send the signal 11 sigsgev.One time close at 30 min. of open the aplication or other time close at 5 or 6 hours.

Do you have any backtraces?
This bug is most likely fixed, I suggest you upgrade to 2.1.4 asap.
