Could you please describe how exactly this works in WinRAR? I don't think I
ever used it before, so it is kind of difficult to find out what exactly
you want.
Thank you!
Hi Henrique: Do you speak spanish? I am from Spain. The name (except the H) looks like spanish. When you are trying to compress a file with WinRAR you can do with the secundary mouse button and then click one of the three options available for compression on the pop up menu, two are direct ones, the other open the application. Up to this point the behavoiur is pretty similar how KDE works. Once you open the application (WinRAR), there is a dialog on the bottom of the screen for multiple volume management. This dialog is disabled by default, with a radiobutton you enable it and then you can choose the size of each volume. You can either choose a fix value (floppy, CDROM, DVD, DVD-double layer, FAT-16, FAT-32 sizes) or introduce a custom value, up to you. You control that through a editable pop menu. It is very handy, since I usually work with big volumes, let's say a double layer DVD image that you have to move to a FAT-32 device or CD-ROM. Thank you very much for this reply, César =============================== Henrique Pinto escribió: [bugs.kde.org quoted mail] On Mon 30 Apr 2007 12:13, cesar wrote: > Do you speak spanish? Thank you for the description, it made clear what the requested feature was. Any news on this features? Changing the default assignee in the currently open Ark bug reports to me. We're about to merge this feature in the upcoming Application 16.08 release. However, this wish is basically a duplicate of #124180 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 124180 *** |
