Thanks for reporting. Changed severity to a wish. Multi-column PKs are planned for Kexi 2.x where x is probably > than 0. Until then, there will be additional (read: more complex, affecting many parts of the application) GUI tab for advanced users, for defining complex indices, and in particular, primary keys. While I value feedback from advanced users, so far a need for multicolumn PKs was not #1 requirement (comparing to other requirements); if you badly demand this, consider supporting the project (there are many ways). Please feel free to report more wishes - all of them are kept carefully in this bugsystem. Regarding "figuring out how to do this" -- all the features are presented in the Kexi dev. wiki [1], and most features are described in the docs as well. [1] http://www.kexi-project.org/wiki/wikiview That'll work for me. Thanks for the response. This wasn't a request I had regarding something I needed, but I do think if others are to want to use Kexi instead of alternatives like Microsoft Access (what I use at my job) this feature will be needed. Since it's a planned addition in the future it's good to hear it'll be resolved down the line. I wish that I were in a position to do some kind of help here but I thought this feature important enough to bring up since I didn't see another open bug for it. I'm not a programmer but I have made a donation to kde in general in the past, and plan to do so again. If I find other ways to help that I can do I'll be sure to do so. Thanks for the link to the resources. I wasn't able to find out how in the kde help center kexi page (maybe didn't look long enough or in the right places) Jaroslaw Staniek wrote: [bugs.kde.org quoted mail] OK, great. If Kexi manual is packaged in your distibution, it's available available online at http://docs.kde.org/stable/en/koffice/ More info: http://kexi-project.org/support.html More description added for wish https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=277435.
